简介 – Short Bio:
我是马皛源，现任斯凯孚工业物联网嵌入式软件架构师。在加入工业界前，我在中国科学院大学的完成了博士学位，并在中国科学院上海高等研究院从事研究工作。我热衷于物联网系统的设计与实现，具体包括低功耗无线通信与组网协议、物联网测试平台/工具以及基于资源受限系统的边缘算法的设计与实现。由我和同事共同提出的物联网通信协议多次获得国际物联网可靠通信竞赛（EWSN Dependability Competition）奖项。作为发起人和主要贡献者之一，我的另一项主要工作ChirpBox（一种不依赖于任何基础设施且易于部署的LoRa网络测试平台）正在帮助物联网领域的工程师/研究人员更有效地观察/设计/优化低功耗广域网。
I’m Xiaoyuan Ma. I am an embedded software architect for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) at SKF. Before leaping to industry, I received my PhD on signal and information processing from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and I was engaged in low-power wireless communication related research in Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I am an enthusiast of IoT design and implementation, and take great interests in low-power wireless communication protocols, IoT testbeds/tools, and algorithm optimization in resource-constrained edge sensors. The low-power wireless protocols designed by my team are awarded multiple times by EWSN Dependability Competition. As the initiator and one of the contributors, another work of mine — ChirpBox, an easy-to-deploy infrastructure-less LoRa testbed — is able to assist researchers/developers in observing/designing/optimizing low-power wide area networks in a more effective manner.

[2021/11/15] We observed the relation between LoRa links and environmental factors for four months by using ChirpBox. Related paper has been accepted by ACM DATA‘21 (and dataset is available).
